At Bookworm Bags we strive to create a great group of authors who are willing, and even enthusiastic, about sharing promo. However, we also understand that giving our a mailing address isn’t taken lightly, and we ask that our member authors agree to several points. We aren’t a strict group, but we do have a few rules to help make things run more smoothly, as well as to be as respectful as possible.

• Ability to share your promo with every member author to include in Bookworm Bags.
• Your website listed on our website.
• Your name goes on each bookworm bag, so readers know WHO provided the free information to them.

Who can join? We are primarily geared toward romance authors, though if you are not worried about receiving and sending out promo for erotic romance novels within the bookworm bags, and you feel your work will be of interest to romance readers, you are welcome. We do not accept young adult authors, or authors of children’s books as members because we do share promo items for adult romance novels. In addition, authors of very religious books may be uncomfortable with the types of books and their subject matter. We don’t want to scare you. But the majority of our authors are erotic romance novelists.

Publishers, review sites, and others may also join, provided they understand that they will be distributing bookworm bags which may contain competing organizations’ work.

The Rules

Our rules are simple.

1) Every author who joins MUST distribute bookworm bags, even if it’s just once a month. Bags make great addition to contest prizes, hand outs at book signings, shared with local book stores or offered at conventions.

2) Every participating author must be listed in the database on our business loop within three days of joining. The sooner you list your name and address, the sooner you can get started.

3) ONLY Bookworm Bag Members promotional items can be placed in Bookworm Bags. This is to protect the integrity of the group. Any additional (non bookworm bags) promo items distributed must be separate from the bag.

4) The names, addresses, and all information for all member authors is confidential. Those who reveal this information will be banned.

5) DO NOT SPAM members of the group. Do not sign members up for your newsletter, send unsolicited email, or advertise to them in any way beyond the routine business of sending and receiving promo items. NO EXCEPTIONS. Anyone who does this will be banned immediately and reported as a spammer.

1. NO PROMO allowed. This is a place for Bookworm Bags discussion only!

2. Posts must be one of the following: ITEMS WANTED, ITEMS SENT, or BAG REQUESTS. (We do make an exception for questions directly related to BWB.)

3. All authors are welcome; however, this group is erotic romance friendly! Bags will contain erotic and sensual romance promo items. If there is enough interest or an author wishes to compile non-erotic bags as well, this is fine, but each author must agree to accept promotional items for erotic and sensual romances.

4. The owner of this group reserves the right to deny membership to anyone for any reason. We want to keep this a fun, promotion-oriented group, and we work hard to do so.

5. If you have any questions, please ask. These rules may seem harsh, but they’re designed to keep this a low-traffic group so you will want to continue to provide Bookworm Bags to your readers.
